2. Conclusion of Contract / Booking
By submitting a written registration and receiving confirmation from ABT, a binding travel contract is concluded. By booking, the customer accepts these terms and conditions as binding.
3. Payment / Deposit / Final Payment
After the contract is concluded, a deposit of EUR 300 is due immediately (EUR 400 if a domestic flight is included). The remaining balance must be paid no later than 6 weeks before the start of the tour. In exceptional cases, cash payment on site is possible.
4. Services and Prices
The scope of contractual services is defined in the tour descriptions and booking confirmation.
a) Minor changes (e.g., hotel changes, route adjustments) are permissible if they do not significantly alter the overall nature of the trip.
b) Price changes due to justified reasons (e.g., taxes, currency fluctuations, fuel prices) are possible up to 4 weeks before departure. If the increase exceeds 5%, the customer may cancel free of charge.
5. Cancellation by the Customer / Cancellation Fees
The customer may cancel the contract at any time before the start of the tour. The decisive date is the receipt of the written cancellation notice by ABT.
Flat-rate cancellation fees:
- Up to 60 days before departure: 30%
- 60–30 days: 50%
- 30–15 days: 80%
- Less than 15 days or no-show: 100%
In group bookings, falling below the minimum number of participants may lead to adjustments or cancellations.
6. Travel Insurance
Travel accident and repatriation insurance is mandatory. We strongly recommend additional health and luggage insurance.
7. Tour Cancellation by ABT
ABT may cancel the contract if:
a) the minimum number of participants (usually 4 people) is not reached,
b) the participant does not meet the participation requirements,
c) force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, political crises) prevents the tour from taking place.
8. Unused Services
There is no entitlement to refunds for services not used or in case of early departure. Any goodwill arrangements are at the discretion of ABT.
9. Liability
ABT is liable within the scope of legal due diligence for:
- Planning and organization of the trip
- Selection and supervision of partners
- Provision of the contractual services
No liability for:
- Third-party services (e.g., scheduled flights, events)
- Accidents or health issues resulting from personal conduct
- Force majeure or misconduct by third parties
Liability is limited to three times the tour price (unless caused by intent or gross negligence).
10. Duty to Cooperate / Complaints
The customer agrees to report any complaints directly to the guide on-site. Written complaints must be submitted within one month after the end of the tour.
11. Entry, Visa, Health
Participants are responsible for valid travel documents, visas, vaccination certificates, and all health-related requirements. ABT will provide guidance to the best of its knowledge but assumes no liability for denied entry, missing documents, or insufficient vaccinations. It is strongly recommended to carry copies of all important documents at all times.
12. Motorcycle Rules & Deposit
- A cash deposit of EUR 400–500 is required at the beginning of the tour.
- Riders must treat the motorcycles responsibly and follow all traffic and safety rules.
- In case of serious violations, the motorcycle may be withdrawn without refund.
- Damage due to overheating or improper handling must be covered by the participant.
- All riders must carry a valid international driver’s license in addition to their national license. Participation may be denied without these documents.
13. Photo and Video Recordings
During the tour, photo and video material may be recorded in which participants are visible. By joining the tour, the customer agrees that this material may be used by ABT for marketing and documentation purposes, unless an objection is submitted prior to the tour.
14. Disclaimer & Risk Notice
Participation in our guided motorcycle tours is at your own risk. These are adventure tours that carry specific physical, logistical, and safety-related risks (e.g., extreme weather, road conditions, limited medical services, technical failures, political events). By joining, the participant explicitly accepts these risks and waives any claims for compensation against ABT, guides, partners, or third parties—except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
Participants commit to not riding under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medications. Violations may result in immediate exclusion from the tour without refund.
15. Language Understanding
The participant confirms that they have read and understood the contents of these terms in a language they are proficient in (German or English), or that the content was fully explained to them.
16. Data Protection
Personal data of participants is processed solely for the purpose of organizing and executing the tour, as well as customer service. The applicable privacy policy can be found at:
